Barbours Cut Terminal

Port Houston handles almost 73% of the containerized cargo market in the U.S. Gulf and 97% of the containers moved through Texas seaports. Ceres Gulf provides vessel stevedoring, container storage, container M&R, and reefer services in Houston, TX at the Barbours Cut Terminal under our JV Company Texas Stevedoring Services (partnership with Hapag Lloyd Americas). In addition, Ceres Gulf operates at the Bayport Container Terminal as Houston Terminal with our JV partner,(Terminal Investment Limited, Container Marine Terminal (TIL CMT). Together, Ceres handles a total of over 1.4 million containers per year in Houston.
Barbours Cut, which is the longest-standing container terminal at Port Houston, has been in operation for more than 45 years. The terminal currently offers 300 acres of container yard space, six berths. Ceres operates at Barbours Cut Terminal under our JV Company Texas Stevedoring Services (partnership with Hapag Lloyd Americas).
