
Mr. Aldaya is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound and joined the company in 1993 as a financial analyst, focusing on the evaluation and financing of various international development projects, including MIT. Previously, he worked for Deloitte & Touche, focusing primarily on high visibility clients, including Microsoft.
In 1996, Mr. Aldaya was promoted to controller and later in 2004 to vice president – finance and accounting and was responsible for the company’s domestic and international financial reporting, financing international project developments, cash management, certain business development, along with the billing, credit, payroll and administrative IT departments.
He has also served on the Finance Committee for PierPass, an industry collaboration to improve air quality and traffic in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area. He currently serves on the board of directors for the company’s two Chilean joint ventures in San Antonio and San Vicente.
In July 2014, he was promoted to CFO and assumed overall responsibilities for the day to day functions related to the financial reporting for Carrix’s global operations, taxes, administrative IS support, accounting, audits, benefits and related items.
