SSA Marine’s operations provide for stevedoring services at three facilities within the Port of Coos Bay. They include two dedicated export woodchip bulk loaders and one general cargo (barge, forest products) breakbulk terminal. All the terminals are privately owned and operated. In addition, SSA Marine provides for sub-agency and payroll services.

Bulk Terminals:
  1. Oregon Chip Terminal: Operated by Daio Paper Dedicated woodchip export site
  2. Roseburg Forest Products: Operated by same Dedicated woodchip export site

Breakbulk Terminals:

      1.  Ocean Terminals: Operated by Jim Lyons

           Domestic and export forest products


Location: 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean

Size: 115 acres marine/industrial property

Water Depth: 38 feet

  • Georgia Pacific: 1326 feet

  • 30 miles south on U.S. Highway 101 from Reedsport U.S. Highway 38
  • Cross into Coos Bay and proceed about one mile
  • Turn right on Teakwood
  • Proceed to the end of the block to the SSA Marine office
