Western Stevedoring has operated Lynnterm, the largest break bulk terminal in Canada for more than 48 years. Strategically located within the Asia-Pacific Gateway in the Port of Vancouver, British Columbia, Lynnterm has grown to become the break bulk consolidation center for the Pacific Northwest handling nearly 2 million metric tons of export forest products and import steel products annually. Western’s world class facilities, on-line cargo tracking systems, equipment and quality cargo handling processes make Lynnterm the terminal of choice for customers and ocean carriers. In addition, Western Stevedoring is the largest and most diversified general stevedoring contractor in British Columbia, offering efficient, reliable services to the break bulk trade in all British Columbia ports. Rail Services: Direct service by the CN Railway and interchange with all major railways. Approximately 7.5 km (4.7 miles) of track providing direct access to warehouse and storage area. A track along the dockface backed by an extensive holding area provides direct transfer to/from-railcar capabilities. Railcar shunting equipment is available for switching on the site.

Highway Access: Trans Canada Highway #1 is minutes away, providing fast turnaround time to the trucking industry

Gate Hours: 0800 – 1600 (0700 Start Optional)
Steel and General Cargo Deliveries: 0800 – 1530 (0700 Start Optional)

CFS: Dock is equipped to accommodate the handling and stuffing/de-stuffing of containers.

Warehouse & Storage: 8 warehouses comprising 876,000 square feet / 81,750 square meters suitable for storage of forest products, general cargo and steel. The warehouses are serviced by rail trackage and have covered unloading aprons for trucks and railcars.

Maintenance: On-site maintenance for servicing and repair of all terminal equipment with on-site gear locker for the quick response of vessel and stevedoring gear requirements

Other Equipment: Over 200 pieces of specialized equipment with capacities ranging from 2,500 kg. (5,500 lb.) to 42,000 kg. (92,400 lb.) to meet all cargo handling requirements
