Western Stevedoring provides specialized terminal and stevedoring services at Cowichan Bay Dock, located 60 kilometers north of Victoria, B.C. Western offers the highest degree of efficiency and service regarding the handling of forest related products.

Location: Port of Cowichan Bay, B.C. (48°44’57.33″ N, 123°37’38.65″ W)

Size: 19.8 acres / 8 hectares of paved area for assembly and storage of lumber

Water Depth:

  • Berth 1 (southern) has a depth of 30 feet / 9 meters alongside and 32 feet / 9.9 meters at 10 feet / 3 meters off dock face
  • Berth 2 (southern) has a depth of 32 feet / 9.9 meters alongside, and 34 feet / 10.5 meters at 10 feet / 3 meters off dock face

Berths & Length:

  • Berth 1 (southern) measures 509 feet / 155 meters
  • Mooring dolphin 49 feet / 15 meters off end
  • Log bundle fenders are available
