Cai Lan International Container Terminal (CICT)

CICT, which is the deepest water seaport in North of Vietnam, locates in strategic location to China cross-border and Industrial Parks. The terminal began operating since August 2012 with ability to accommodate vessels up to 5,000 TEUs or 85,000 DWT enlightened. CICT offers stevedore services for variety of cargo including container and non-container using the most modern facilities to reach the highest productivity in region.

Berths & Length: 3 berths (#2, 3, 4 in Cai Lan Port), measuring 1,949 feet / 594 meters

Cranes: 4 ship-to-shore post-Panamax (17 wide); 12 ERTGS 7 containers wide

Truck Lanes & Scales: 8 truck lanes, 6 yard scales and 5 mobile scales

Reefer Services: 448 ROAs for live reefers, 56 ROAs for pre-trip and extendable to 1,000 plugs

Rail Services: Double gauge railroad Cai Lan (Ha Long) – Pha Lai – Yen Vien to Hanoi, Lang Son and Lao Cai

Highway Access: Road access is via National Highway 18 with a connection to Highway 5b to Hanoi
