SSA Cooper provides stevedoring, terminal and logistical service for Fibria Celulose, Inc. of Brazil. This includes operating a 290,000 ship side warehouse with both rail and truck loading. SSA Cooper provides terminal and barge loading service for Trailer Bridge's RoRo and LoLo services to Puerto Rico. Autos, steel and other breakbulk commodities are handled on inducement.

The Port of Jacksonville is located on the St. Johns River. The Port of Jacksonville is a landlord lease port. Approximately 80% of the port is leased to private companies.

Driving Directions
From North:
  • Take I-95 South to exit 362-A (State Rd. 9A South)
  • At the end of the ramp, stay straight to State Rd. 9A South
  • Exit Heckscher Dr.
  • At bottom of Exit ramp, turn left onto Heckscher Dr.
  • Continue for 1.5 miles and bear right onto Blount Island Rd.

From South:
  • Take I-95 north to exit 358-A (Heckscher Dr.)
  • Merge onto Heckscher Dr. and continue for about 8 miles
  • Turn slight right onto Blount Island Rd.
